Located in the heart of the Sultanahmet, 10 minutes’ walk from the Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia, the Romance has been recently renovated to a high standard in a traditional Ottoman style. Each of the 40 stylish rooms are adorned with a talisman shirt – these garments were made for sultans to bring them good luck and protection – and feature wooden floors, Turkish rugs, rich fabrics and marble bathrooms with walk-in showers.
