Palacio de Los Velada, Avila - Castille

Perfectly located within the walls of the old town, this 16th Century palace has attracted monarchs and courtiers for centuries because of its proximity to the Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace.

It was transformed into an hotel eight years ago and has retained many of its historic architectural features. The inner courtyard is the focal point of the hotel and is surrounded by a beautiful Renaissance cloister. There are 145 bedrooms, decorated in a classic style and a restaurant ‘El Tostado’ (closed Sunday evening and all day Monday).
